Mystic and Melodramatic Adventure

Detective Dee is a worth watching good movie which is able to give viewer a thrilling experience !

Storyline: To investigate a series of murders during the the coronation of the first female Empress of China (played by Carina Lau),Detective Dee (Andy Lau) was released from prison.On the eve of her coronation as Empress (Carina Lau), China's most powerful woman is haunted by a chilling murder mystery: seven men under her command have burst into flames, leaving behind only black ash and skeletal bones.During his investigation Detective Dee finds out the enemy behind this by facing many twists and turns and sacrifice his life and future to save the nation!

This is really a solid movie with breath-taking cinematography from Tsui Hark who well crafted this historical China story. Over all this was an interesting movie which has heart and soul of a classic Hong Kong fantasy.
